Baker is the only place I can envision my two kids (7 and 12) being educated. Baker is an intentionally small Pre-K to 8th school that leverages project based learning, experiential education and best practices in education to engage eager students. Our kids' teachers are masterful at both creating affirming classroom cultures as well as engaging students in high level academics, thoughtful analysis, and innovative problem solving. Through intentional community building and high expectations for teamwork, Baker teachers help each student develop a strong academic identity and love learning. They create learners who are curious, challenge seekers, problem solvers, great communicators, invested community members, and who are kind. No school is perfect, but when bumps occur, teachers and admin are responsive. Our kids LOVE going to school. There is never a morning where they drag or whine getting out the door. They love learning. They love Baker.
